Rep. Liz Cheney, a former Republican from Wyoming, officially endorsed Vice President Harris for the presidency last week. Cheney left the GOP to travel around Wisconsin, a crucial battleground state, supporting the Democratic ticket.
Over the weekend, Fox News Digital visited Casper, Wyoming, to speak with residents about the upcoming election and Cheney’s decision to endorse Harris instead of the Republican presidential candidates. Most voters in the Cowboy State expressed strong disapproval of Cheney’s endorsement, labeling her a “traitor” and a “turncoat.”
“I’m not impressed with that at all,” Clark Johnson told Fox News Digital when asked about his thoughts on Cheney campaigning with Harris last week in Wisconsin.
“I think it’s ridiculous. I think she’s a traitor to the country,” another Wyomingite, Gunner Berg, said of the campaign event.
